I had no idea he'd bought it. He was the first to wish me a Happy First Mother's Day. We then got up and got ready for church. We went to my brother's church, because my lil nephew was dedicated. I was expecting a very personal thing for their family, instead it was every family with a baby that had been born since last Mother's Day. They all lined up across the stage, it's a gigando church, so they filled the stage with families and babies. It was interesting to see how different churches do things. After church we went to Mom n Dad's to cook my mom a Mother's Day meal.
Ducklings
FB brought theses little cuties home on their second day of life. They were still wet looking and ran around in a little herd. They were very freaked out by me and Holly looking in on them. This is day 3 of their little life. I can't believe how much bigger and cuter they got overnight! They're still running in a herd, but less afraid of me. They realized my hand was the one bringing the water. Which they loved to get in and splash everywhere. I had to refill it every couple hours during the evening. They went back to school with FB yesterday, so his kids could see them and take care of them for a while. I'm looking forward to watching them grow more. Plus they will eventually come back to our yard and be really good pest control. :)
Hope you're all having a great week.
